This Privacy Policy governs the use of the software application MCalc ("the App") for mobile devices and the web, which is developed, operated, and maintained by MTreeAI ("we," "us," or "our").

1. Information We Collect

MTreeAI is committed to privacy. We only collect the minimum data necessary to provide our services:

• User Account Info: When you sign in, we collect your email address via Google Firebase Authentication. This is strictly used to identify your account and synchronize your calculation history across your devices.
• Usage Data: We collect anonymous crash reports and performance metrics (via Firebase Crashlytics) to help us fix bugs and improve stability.

2. Device Permissions

The App requires specific permissions to function correctly:

• Camera Access: Requested strictly for the Tip Calculator's receipt scanning feature (OCR).
  Privacy Note: All image processing is performed locally on your device using Google ML Kit. Your photos are processed in real-time memory and are never uploaded to MTreeAI servers or any cloud storage.
• Internet Access: Required to sync your settings and history with the MCalc Cloud database.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We use trusted third-party services to operate the App. These providers have their own privacy policies:

• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Displays advertisements in the free version. AdMob may use device identifiers to serve personalized ads based on your interests.
• RevenueCat: Manages "MCalc Pro" subscriptions and purchase validation. We do not store your credit card information directly; all transactions are handled by the Google Play Store.
• Google Firebase: Provides secure cloud infrastructure for your data and authentication.

4. Data Retention & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption provided by Google Cloud. We retain your calculation history only as long as you maintain an active account. You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
